Competitions – within the
franework of the Secondary specialized activities, which are aimed to locate
the gifted and talented students and to contribute to the reasonable and
effective utilisation of their free time. Our teachers provide the
consultations to the selected themes and in the turn of the month January and
February we organize the school level from which the best work advances on the
regional and nation-wide level.
Language competitons –
foreign language teachers prepare the talented students for the Olympiads from
the English, German, occasionally Russian language.
Competitions in specialized
subjects – one of the specialized subjects in our school
is administration and correspondence. The students have a choice to prove
their skills in the typing on the school, regional and nation-wide level. For
the best students are created the terms for graduation of the state examination
from the typing and economic correspondence.
Sport competitions – traditionally
we achieve excellent results in the sport competition such as volleyball,
basketball, soccer, orienteering, hockeyball, chess and athletics.
From school
life – the students do not experience only the examination and learning
in our school, but we annually organize the apres-ski educational-drill course
(February – March) for the first class and for the third class the course of
protection of man and nature (June). Every 2nd year students of Business
Academy can graduate the language courses in Great Britain. They are
concentrated on identification of the country, whose language is learned at our
school and on the improvement of communicative skills.
We
twined with the German school in
Kiel. The aim of our cooperation are the exchange stays of students and
teachers concentrated on the field of fictive firms and the teaching of foreign
languages. This project is wide-spread of international cooperation with
secondary schools from the member states of the European Union (Germany,
Holland, Denmark, The Czech republic, The Slovak republic). In november 2005
our school will organize international project meeting with partnerïs schools.
The
ovation of students of the first form to the student craft lives up the
students life. The students of the third form organize it in the form of
matriculate party.
The
students feast – the 17th
November – we commemorate it with organization of the match in volleyball
between students and teachers of our school.
„The Christmas bar“ has a great acceptance. It
is a competition in the high jump. We traditionally parted with an old
year.
Magazine – the students of
Business Academy publish their own school magazine „Prefect“ which shows the
school life with student eyes. We can find there the columns like: short
stories, horoscopes, advertisements, self creation, interview, jokes, tests,
the products of teachers,... etc.
